Referring to historic process of bleach-etch, also known as gelatin relief, Mordancage method was developed by Jean -Pierre Sudre producing 3D-like reverse relief, with visible gelatin veils layer. This 4 h workshop will introduce you to the basics of the process, including bleaching, redevelopment and simplified method of producing digital negatives for contact printing with silver gelatin paper.

This is a beginner workshop- though it is advisable you have some previous darkroom experience.

* Tips on picking the best photograph for this process will be sent to participants ahead of time. Each participant can also bring one already printed silver gelatin print to use for the process alongside a digital file.
Make sure to bring comfortable darkroom clothes as they may get stained!
WHAT YOU GET
You’ll gain a new skill in mordancage process, finishing the workshop with 2 prints. Keeping groups small-up to 4 participants-allows for more personalised experience.
